Evaluation
Each installation begins with a site inspection and assessment evaluation where your roofing contractor will inspect the interior and exterior of your home to determine the best location for sun tunnel and skylight installation.
Your roofing contractor will also assess the structural integrity of your roof and ceiling to ensure they can support the weight of installation without compromising integrity.
Recommendation
Your contractor will provide different types and sizes of sun tunnels and skylights, going over the benefits and suitability of each based on your specific needs.
Recommendations are made with energy efficiency and your budget in mind. You will then be given an estimated timeline for installation so you can appropriately prepare.
Installation
Once your quote has been approved, our team of certified professionals can get right to work.
The installation area will be marked and prepped, and any surrounding areas will be protected from debris.
Your contractor will begin by cutting openings in the roof according to the specifications then install the sun tunnel or skylight before sealing with proper flashing to prevent leaks. Interior finishing may also include trimming and sealing around the unit on the inside of your ceiling.
Once the installation is complete, your roofing contractor will conduct a final inspection to ensure quality workmanship.
